U.S. Regulations
In addition to keeping the products we sell - both from suppliers and those made in-house - within regulations, Sealing Devices can assist you in ensuring your business remains compliant. Some of the U.S. regulatory codes we can help you with include:
- The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)
- The Dodd-Frank Act Conflict Minerals Rule
- The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)
- State Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) restrictions
- California Proposition 65
International Regulations
Sealing Devices’ regulatory compliance extends beyond U.S. legislation. We can also assist you with international requirements, including:
- European PFAS restrictions and guidance
- The Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH)
- The Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS)
International Traffic in Arms Regulations
Sealing Devices maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance, as required by the Department of State. This ensures transparency and traceability in the manufacturing, exporting, and brokering of defense articles, related technical data, and defense services.
Our current ITAR registration is valid through 1/31/2027, at which point it will be renewed. Registration is primarily a means to provide the U.S. Government with necessary information on who is involved in certain manufacturing, exporting, and brokering activities. Registration does not confer any export rights or privileges but is a precondition for the issuance of any license or other approval for export.
Industry Certifications
Aside from meeting government requirements, Sealing Devices is proud to comply with important industry certifications, including:
