Sealing Devices Breaks Ground on Lancaster Expansion

New manufacturing and office addition reinforces long-term commitment to Western New York, workforce development, and future growth

LANCASTER, N.Y. — July 29, 2026 — Sealing Devices today announced the official groundbreaking of a major expansion at its Lancaster, New York headquarters, marking another significant investment in advanced manufacturing, workforce development, and the company's continued growth in Western New York.

The project includes a 40,180-square-foot manufacturing addition and a 9,600-square-foot office expansion, bringing the company's Lancaster campus to approximately 270,000 square feet. Once complete, the expansion will connect existing facilities into a more integrated campus, improving workflow between departments, increasing manufacturing capacity, and creating additional space to support future growth.

The expansion represents one of the largest capital investments in the company's history and underscores Sealing Devices' commitment to strengthening manufacturing in Western New York.

The expansion builds on a period of continued growth for Sealing Devices, including investments in advanced manufacturing technologies, employee development, and operational capabilities.

Construction is being completed by Montante Construction with support from the Lancaster Industrial Development Agency (IDA) and project partners. Once completed, the expansion will further strengthen Sealing Devices' ability to deliver innovative manufacturing solutions while reinforcing its long-standing commitment to Western New York.
