FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

THERM-A-GAP PAD 30RB and PAD 120LOE expand material options for repeated compression and high-performance electronics.

LANCASTER, N.Y., October 13, 2026 — Sealing Devices now offers Parker Chomerics THERM-A-GAP® PAD 30RB and THERM-A-GAP® PAD 120LOE, expanding its thermal management portfolio with two materials designed to address different electronics interface requirements. The additions give customers options for recovery after compression, higher thermal conductivity, and low silicone oil migration, supported by Sealing Devices’ applications engineering and fabrication capabilities.

PAD 30RB: Recovery for testing and reassembly

THERM-A-GAP PAD 30RB is a reusable thermal gap pad with 3.0 W/m-K thermal conductivity and very low compression force. Parker designed the material to recover after compression, making it an option to evaluate for interfaces that repeatedly contact, release, or reopen. Its conformability accommodates stack-up variation. Standard PAD 30RB has naturally tacky surfaces, with a one-sided non-tacky option available for applications requiring release from one contact surface.

PAD 120LOE: Higher conductivity with low oil migration

THERM-A-GAP PAD 120LOE provides 12.0 W/m-K thermal conductivity and is formulated to minimize silicone oil bleed and migration where these can create manufacturing or appearance concerns. The material exhibits stress relaxation over time, with very low compression force after relaxation. Parker identifies advanced computing, Telecom infrastructure, and defense electronics among its intended markets.

Application support through Sealing Devices

Sealing Devices helps customers review material selection alongside assembled gap, allowable component load, operating conditions, and handling requirements. Customers can also discuss part geometry and fabrication needs with the team, connecting the material evaluation to the requirements of the finished assembly.
