Sealing Devices Facility is Approved for NSF-61 Gasket Cutting

Lancaster, NY; February 24, 2023 – Sealing Devices Inc., a premier seal and gasket manufacturer, is pleased to announce its now a certified manufacturing facility capable of cutting, packaging, and distributing NSF/ANSI/CAN 61-certified gaskets for the potable drinking water treatment market. The certification allows our customers to purchase gaskets from Sealing Devices which meet the strict standards for public health protection of drinking water safe products required by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF).

The Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) & The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) legislation went into effect in 2014, which ensures rubber used for gaskets and seals in potable water applications is proven to prevent the leaching of harmful contaminants before installation. As a company manufacturing, selling, or distributing water treatment or distribution products in North America, products require compliance with these standards.
