Sealing Devices Wins 2022 WNY’s Healthiest Employer Award

Lancaster, NY; August 26, 2022 Sealing Devices was honored as this year's Buffalo Business First WNY's Healthiest Employer in the medium business category (200-500 employees). Sealing Devices works hard to provide its employees with unique on-site wellness programs, including chair massages, chiropractic, reiki, reflexology, nutrition, exercise, and acupuncture sessions.

I’m extremely pleased that our company was recognized as one of WNY’s Healthiest Employers. Since our inception in 1963, my grandfather recognized the importance of our employees well-being, and over the years I’m proud to say that we have continued the company’s commitment to wellness. It began with a responsibility over 50 years ago to ensure financial well-being by offering a unique profit sharing program that contributes 18% of the employee’s salary to a savings/retirement fund. This benefit continues to be a something that we offer our employees present day.

We’ve also recognized the importance not only of financial well-being, but physical and mental heath. Our Human Resources team has done an amazing job of working with our benefit providers to ensure that we not only offer a competitive healthcare plan, but one that offers incentives to employees for recognizing the importance of their physical and mental health.

We are constantly learning and improving how and what we offer in terms of wellness programs that will directly impact our diverse manufacturing workforce. Sealing Devices will continue to be committed to the best physical, mental and financial wellness programs for our employees.
