Sealing Devices Named 2025 Buffalo Niagara Economic Champion

LANCASTER, N.Y. — November 18, 2025 — Sealing Devices, a leading manufacturer of engineered sealing solutions and a veteran-owned, third-generation family business, has been named a 2025 Buffalo Niagara Economic Champion by the Buffalo Niagara Partnership.

The recognition celebrates companies making measurable contributions to the regional economy through job creation, investment, growth, and innovation.

Driving Growth Through Investment & Expansion

In 2025, Sealing Devices added 21 new positions, including four management-level roles. The company also made over $1 million in capital investments across infrastructure, equipment, and technology—strengthening its manufacturing capabilities and operational efficiency.

Sealing Devices launched a new 6,000 sq. ft. Training Center in Plant 6 in 2025, featuring a dedicated classroom and hands-on production training area. The center has already supported the onboarding of new hires, hosted CRM training for sales, and is now the standard orientation site for all new employees.

Three dedicated team members, including the Director of Talent Management, support the space and its programs, which are designed to accelerate learning, safety, and job readiness across the organization.

Sealing Devices continues to earn recognition for its ethics and industry partnerships. In 2025, the company was honored with multiple supplier awards—including three separate “Geared for Growth” recognitions from Parker Hannifin—and was a finalist for the Buffalo Niagara Business Ethics Awards.

2025 marked Sealing Devices’ 63rd year in business—a rare achievement as a third-generation family-run operation. The year also saw two employees celebrate 25-year anniversaries, with others reaching 20, 15, and 10-year milestones—underscoring the loyalty and dedication of the team.
