Lancaster, New York — March 10, 2026 — Sealing Devices Inc. announced today that Chairman & CEO Terry Galanis Jr. has been named 2026 Manufacturer of the Year by Buffalo Business First. The award recognizes outstanding manufacturing leaders across Western New York who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and contributions to the region’s manufacturing industry.
Galanis has spent more than 50 years with Sealing Devices, helping guide the company’s growth from a small family business into a leading manufacturer and distributor of sealing solutions serving industries including aerospace, defense, electronics, and industrial manufacturing. Today, the company employs more than 250 people in Western New York and continues to expand its manufacturing capabilities to meet the needs of advanced technology markets.
Founded in 1963, Sealing Devices is now a third-generation family-owned business, with Galanis playing a pivotal role in establishing the company’s reputation for technical expertise, customer support, and long-term partnerships. The company is currently planning a 50,000-square-foot expansion at its Lancaster headquarters to support continued growth and investment in advanced manufacturing.
