Sealing Devices has been selected as a finalist for the Buffalo Business First WNY Healthiest Employers Awards in the medium business category.

Sealing Devices offers its employees robust, “onsite” wellness sessions with providers associated with Burgio Health Alliance. Employees have access to Chair Massage, Chiropractic, Reiki, Reflexology, Nutrition/Food Prep, Exercise and Acupuncture sessions. Employees sign up for half-hour sessions during their lunch break and earn “wellness” points that can be used for incentives that lower their health insurance premium contributions. The company also participates in the annual JP Morgan Corporate Challenge and promotes financial wellness with their 18% profit-sharing program.

I’m pleased that our team is being considered for one of WNY’s Healthiest Employers. Since our inception in 1963, my grandfather recognized the importance of our employees well-being, and over the years I’m proud to say that we have continued the company’s commitment to wellness. It began with a responsibility over 50 years ago to ensure financial well-being by offering a unique profit-sharing program that contributes 18% of the employee’s salary to a savings/retirement fund. This benefit continues to be something that we offer our employees present day. We’ve also recognized the importance not only of financial well-being, but physical and mental health. Our Human Resources Team has done an amazing job of working with our benefit providers to ensure that we not only offer a competitive healthcare plan, but one that offers incentives to employees for recognizing the importance of their physical and mental health. We are constantly learning and improving how and what we offer in terms of wellness programs that will directly impact our diverse manufacturing workforce. Sealing Devices is continually committed to physical, mental and financial wellness.
