Aflas O-Rings
Aflas® O-rings: acid, petroleum & steam resistance
Aflas O-rings (Tetrafluoroethylene-Propylene) are resistant to a large number of engine coolants and automotive fluids, and typical service temperatures are from 15°F (-9°C) to +450°F (+232°C).
The compression set of Aflas O-rings is not as good as many fluorocarbons, but it is resistant to motor oils and engine coolants, power steering fluids, transmission fluids and extreme pressure gear lubricants.

- Compatible with bases, phosphate esters, amines, engine oils, steam, and hot water pipe.
- Pulp and paper liquors
- Good for steam and hot water up to 340°F (170°C), and are good in acids and bases. Aflas is recommended for vacuums, amines and bases, and offers good wear resistance.
